Last year, I did a small experiment. I spent one month writing articles for a website called “Ehow”. I made over $500 bucks in royalties and still continue to receive royalty checks on a monthly basis.

Have you always wanted to read with more confidence and enthusiasm?
Would you like to double or triple your reading speed?
Well, I tried this method for about 10 to 12 minutes and my reading speed increased from 240wpm to 440 wpm. That an 83% increase in my reading speed with no loss of comprehension.
There is no gimmick here, I don’t get paid if you try it. The information is FREE, there is NO COST at all for trying to increase your reading speed.
The two main ideas used in speed reading are:
1) Develop a reading style where you ONLY read forward, never returning to text you’ve already read.
2) Develop a technique to stop reading the white space on the margins of the page. In other words, you’re eyes have been trying to read the blank spots on the page and that is slowing you down as well.

Well, I took the GRE computer adaptive test. That means that as you do well the questions become more difficult, and if you do poorly the questions become easier.
How did I do? The computer told me 1190. One score was 560 and the other 630, I don’t remember which was which.
The essays were my strength; I dominated them! However, I am unsure if they are even used as criteria for the admissions process.
How does my experience benefit you? First off, ALL THE MATH PREPARATION BOOKS WERE LIARS!! That’s right, I used some barrons, kaplan, ets’s own website, and 4 other books. The majority of (the style of) math questions they used in the books were not even on the exam!! Make sure you can do the HARDEST of the prep questions and then go find HARDER MATERIAL and I’ll think you’ll be prepared. The math wasn’t impossibly difficult, it just wasn’t the same math I reviewed for the test.
But hey, that’s just my opinion.
